One key for every language
Polykey is a developer gateway. Instead of signing up for a dozen separate services, managing a dozen API keys and reading a dozen sets of documentation, you hold one secret key that reaches a catalog of more than 2,500 programming language repositories — from Python, TypeScript and Rust through to Prolog, Ada, Fortran and the esoteric languages most platforms ignore.
Every repository is served through the same request shape, returns the same response envelope, and ships with the same accompanying material: a curriculum path that walks from first syntax to working programs, full build parameters, syntax highlighting, an in-browser IDE you can run code in, and an AI generator that writes complete files rather than fragments. Payloads are handled end to end as Unicode, so identifiers, comments and text in any script survive the round trip intact.
It is built for people who move between languages and are tired of rebuilding their tooling each time: engineers shipping production services, students working through a computer science course, teachers assembling examples, researchers scripting a one-off experiment, and teams that want a single access point instead of a folder of credentials. If you have ever abandoned a language because setting up the toolchain took longer than the task, Polykey is aimed at you.
Polykey is built and maintained by a small independent team of working developers who wanted the catalog they could not find. It stays deliberately focused: one gateway, one flat monthly price, and new repositories added as they are catalogued and verified.
